Order Acceptance Policy

Your emailed receipt of an order confirmation does not signify our acceptance of your order. We reserve the right to limit quantities and to decline the acceptance of any order for any reason. Prices and product availability are subject to change without notice.

From time to time we may offer special discounts such as coupons on certain items. These special offers are for a very limited time. We do not publish a start or an end-time to the offer. These offers will commence and expire without prior notice and no "rainchecks" will be offered after expiry. The number of sales allowed will be limited by time and item's availability. All special discounts are subject to verification for legitimacy prior to acceptance. We reserve the right to limit quantities or refuse orders at our discretion. Due to the often substantial savings these offers may contain, we may be unable to offer the discount for your order on particular items.

Return / Exchange Policy

Software Return Policy

Please research the software title you are interested in prior to completing the purchase. Make sure your computer meets the system requirements described in every item and be sure to note the packaging details, included in the description of every item we sell. It is the customer's responsibility to verify system compatibility and product needs before purchasing software products. For technical questions regarding a product, please contact the software publisher. If necessary, you may contact us and we can direct you to the manufacturer.

30 Days replacement for defective items with no additional cost to you. We may accept returns only on unopened items in re-sellable condition within 30 days from the purchase date. The product must be returned with all manuals, license etc. There will be a 15% restocking fee and shipping charges are not refundable on product returns. Please contact us for return authorization and instructions if you wish to return any unopened items. Returns that arrive to us without an RMA form will be held for 3 weeks before either disposed of, or returned to the sender.

In the unfortunate event that we ship the wrong item, we will reship your order without delay at no additional cost to you.  We will also provide pre-paid envelope for the incorrect item to be returned. The product must be returned with all manuals, license etc. in its original unopened condition.

Purplus doesn't offer price protection, due to the nature of our business, the price you pay today may be different at a later date.

Product prices, description and system requirement posted on Purplus website's supersede all others that may be listed in other sites as advertisements in search engines, user's groups, shopping services, comparison shopping and similar others.

Where is my Package?

Please make sure you have checked your 

You should have received a shipping confirmation email from us the day your order was shipped. If you have not received this email, please let us know and we will resend the email.

If your order was shipped via the United Parcel Service, a tracking number is included in your shipping confirmation email. Please go to the UPS Package Tracking page to view your package's status.

If your order was shipped via the United States Postal Service's Priority Mail, you should receive it within 5 Business Days from date of shipment. If it has been longer than 5 days, please check with your local Post Office to see if they are holding the package for you. Many Postal workers do not feel comfortable leaving packages when no one is home and may have left a pick up notice in your mail box. Please note, there are not tracking numbers for Postal Service Packages, only delivery confirmations.

If your order was shipped via the United States Postal Service's Surface Mail or Media Mail, you should receive it within 12 Business Days from date of shipment.

Note: If you used the Free Shipping Option your package was shipped via USPS Surface Mail and may take up to 12 Business Days to arrive, based on the distance you are from the shipment origin of Northern California. If you selected Priority mail and paid less than Priority mail rate, your parcel went via USPS First Class Mail which can take up to 4 business days to receive, based on the distance you are from the shipment origin of Northern California.

In the unlikely and unfortunate event your package has been lost, please be patient. Our number one priority is to ensure customer satisfaction. Please contact us if you feel your package is delayed or may be lost.

Product Packaging Details

Purplus is a unique discount software company. Our product list includes the most recent titles as well as older versions, vintage and special interest titles. All at a discounted price.

Please be sure to note the packaging details, included in the description, of all items we sell.

The following is a description of each packaging type:

  • Retail Box - Retail software including the box; exact same packaging and contents as found  in large retail stores.
  • Mail Order Packaging - All contents of retail box packaged for mail order shipment (packaging can vary from plain cardboard box, manila envelope or plastic sleeve)

  • Retail Jewel Case - Retail software encased in a plastic jewel case with color inserts. May or may not include a small users guide (usually electronic files or help menu in the CD)
  • CD and Manual - CD only is shipped with paper manual. CD may be shrinkwrapped in paper sleeve or jewel case along with the manual.     
  • CD Only / CD with keycode- CD only in paper sleeve (usually electronic files or help menu in the CD) / CD Only with keycode is the same but the authentic keycode is included with the software.
  • OEM - OEM refers to Original Equipment Manufacturer packaging. OEM is software that was intended to be sold as part of an bulk shipment but has been split up for resale (the text on the CD face might display this same information). The OEM products are of the same quality and often carry the same manufacturer warranty as their retail counterparts (the single-pack).  Unless otherwise noted OEM titles ship as CD Only.
  • DVD Case - CD or DVD is shipped in a DVD Case (similar to movie rental cases) and can contain paper inserts however may not contain a manual.
  • Color CD Card Pack - CD is encased in a tri- (or bi) fold full color cardboard sleeve. Does not contain paper manual, but does contain help files on CD.
  • Academic - Functionally identical to the Full Retail version. Usually comes with full retail box, manuals, and registration. Also called "Student / Teacher Edition," by some manufacturers. Possible limitations on upgrades.
