In Professor Owl's Tree House, students have a choice of 3 activities. The Doorbell Spell helps with word identification and spelling by matching letters to sounds. Word Bird works with 2-letter consonants clusters to strengthen phonic awareness. Silly Scripts has 8 stories that are missing particular words. Students learn contextual understanding by selecting appropriate words to fill in the blanks.
In Papa Bear's Studio students encounter three sets of math problems. The Week Creek helps develop skills understanding time sequences and scheduling. Costu-Matic works with money and purchases by counting in multiples. The Costume Count uses color and costume icons to help students add and subtract.
Pierre's Studio is geared toward the arts with music, acting and drawing. The Autograph Hound asks students to interpret emotional content of spoken passages. This helps with cooperation and understanding in group settings. Billboards works with drawing and paint tools to create art that can be displayed. Pattern Piano develops pattern recognition using music by leaving out some notes; children must choose what works to fill in the blanks.
Bab's Workshop uses animals to teach measuring and sorting. In Animal Geography students decide which animal does not belong in the scenery. This teaches about the environment and biology. Measure It! guides students to understanding about sizes and discreet parts of whole lengths. In Prop Sorter students work with animals and use given facts to distinguish objects.
